Rui Faria
Originally born in Portugal, Rui moved to the USA to study photography, he attended the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
Specialising in fashion and beauty photography, for many years, Rui worked all over the world for various editorial and advertising clients.
In 1993 Rui moved to the UK permanently to raise his son and work on the European circuit. He lives in North London and continues to work as a photographer within the beauty sector, he shoots regularly for The Guardian, Sunday Times Style and Volt Magazine, which he also founded in 2006 and currently edits.
His many clients include, Marie Claire (UK), G.Q, Harrods and Jalouse.
His work is immediately recognizable and he always manages to push the boundaries of convention.
